Hi, I'm Joey Alarcon, producer and guitarist in the bands Wolves at the Gate and Born Through Fire.

I started writing songs when I was 11 years old, recording my first demos on a cassette tape recorder in my bedroom. I dreamed of the day that I would record in a big commercial studio, but when that day came, the results were underwhelming...somewhat "vanilla".  It was then I began a quest to create "the sound" that I had always heard in my head. Big but controlled, aggressive but smooth, exciting but mature.

I obsessively experimented and developed a production process to help other artists achieve their goals. Since then, music has taken me around the world to places I never would have gone without it.

When I'm not touring or in the studio, I enjoy spending time at the beach with my family. I love building relationships through music - feel free to reach out and let's connect!
